The Margaret River CowParade was one of the most successful events held in the region, with 85 cow artworks entered by local, national and international artists. The event culminated with a charity auction of the artwork, where over $350,000 was raised for local and Australian charities.The event was also awarded Gold at the WA Tourism Awards in the category of Major Festivals and Events. It received international recognition for its success, and injected a marked increase to visitation and visitor expenditure in the region.
