The Challenge
Enable is one of the largest not for profit organisations in Western Australia. Caring for vast numbers of men and women whose disabilities prevent them from living wholesome lives, Enable are charged with creating solutions to help integrate those in need with the broader community.
Jack in the box was initially commissioned to overhaul the corporate styling and projection along with the development of a focused, strategic approach. In addition, the discovery process identified a need for Enable Southwest to reposition the organisation and better communicate its human values to a broader and more sympathetic audience. While the commission began with a single directive, time and the necessity to create a livery and projection for the organisation evolved and thebox was asked to complete a vast array of promotional and livery requirements
The Idea
Based on the organisation’s name ‘Enable’, which is derived from the organisation’s cultural value and mission – to enable the disabled to garner a greater equality within the community – the team believed it was possible to use the word to further communicate their message.
The Solution
Concentrating on the ‘able’ syllable of the word ‘Enable’, thebox utilised the words full meaning to add a positive value to all communication. Boasting absolute continuity, all the strategic needs of the organisation were met by the use of this concept.
The Last Word
Enable Southwest are now repositioned with new livery and communication tools. Their overall positioning now delivers a truer projection of who they are and the services they offer. This has resulted in a wholistic corporate communication which has greater impact and creates a better understanding of their function, while opening new marketing opportunities in recruitment. Today, the image of Enable Southwest is better served by its corporate communication by not only impacting on public perception but assisting clients to improve their quality of life and deliver real benefits in the shape of acceptance and inclusion into society.
