Lowdown
When thebox was first approached to assist with the creative development of possum signage for GeoCatch, we thought it was just your average request for interpretive signage. But this project became so much more than that!
We met the GeoCatch team on location and it quickly became obvious that there was more potential to be really creative with this project. The neurons began to fire and the creativity flowed. The old fashioned, angled board with screeds of copy and pictures that belonged in an encyclopedia, was out and what replaced it was a suite of vibrant signs attached to homes for the possums.
In a coordinated effort with the local Men’s Shed, the project came together to activate a reserve, create a home and drive awareness for those passing by.
It’s a great example of when a client allows you room in a brief to activate it in a way that delivers on every aspect of the requirement while being creative, impactful and, in this case, a lot of fun.
