The Challenge

With a need to appeal to a niche global telecommunications audience, StrataNet came to Jack in the box to provide a complete overhaul of its communication. From the brand to the messaging, everything needed to be addressed as the organisation embarked on a global campaign with its newly acquired network of subsea networks and infrastructure.

The Idea

The broader market doesn’t really understand the nature by which communication is established and maintained across the globe. Most would believe it’s all conducted via satellite. Subsea cable networks are the veins of modern communication and essential to the connectivity we’ve become accustom to as consumers. We needed to develop a brand that other large global brands, such as Google, Amazon, Facebook and Telstra, could instantly trust. We also needed to develop a suite of tools that would provide the team with all the technical needs for their niche clientele.

The Solution

An node based ‘S’ was developed which also introduced a gradient sweep that immediately spoke ‘sub sea’. This strong, bold visual element set the tone for the project and we developed not only the brand but a complete rebuild and rewrite of the website, new sales brochure, email signatures and host of other collateral.

An integrated meeting system was implemented into the website to allow global conference meetups and an in depth Digital Strategy was created and is currently being implemented by the Jack in the box team.

The Last Word

With a need to capture global tech companies attention, this was a brand that needed to stand out. It also needed to have the backup of high quality collateral and easily articulated maps which became central to the communication of the available network.
