Lowdown

While starting out as a youth community space in Dalyellup, it was obvious the concept could go much further. So when thebox was asked to develop a name and Brandmark for the space, we didn’t limit ourselves to the location.

With a need to portray a space that was warm and welcoming while offering a glimpse at it being more than just a space but a place of inspiration, we wanted to create something that would really stand out and be easy to remember and say.

Enter YALLO

Born from a combination of Hello and Yes, its urban dictionary definition was also “achieve the impossible; get much more than expected”…we felt this was perfect for the project.

Using a striking combination of yellow and purple, the brand is colourful and full of life.

The custom typography and the iconic accents are playful and it has a dynamic feel through its execution.
