Paul and Trish Miller, two savvy local dairy farmers with a passion for icecream, first approached the team at ‘the box’ in early 2010 with a dream for a tourism attraction with a difference. 12 months later, we’re are thrilled to see the dream come to life with the opening of their brand new Icecreamery and tourism attraction, Millers Icecream, on 26th December.

What was a lady in a sparkly red dress, a classy dinner setting and several bottles of red wine doing in the Jack in the box boardroom? No, it wasn’t an exclusive after-hours client meeting, it was the setting for a photoshoot for a new wine label, using some innovative thinking to transform the boardroom into a romantic restaurant setting.
Sometimes living outside of the city can leave you feeling a little culturally bereft – no popping in to see the latest art exhibit at PICA on the way home from work on a weekday evening, no visiting the latest wine bar for a quiet drink with friends on a Sunday night – these are the things I miss about the city.
