Having been part of the journey since developing a Brand Story for the then ‘Community Home Care’ back in 2019, thebox was invited to assist with the final piece of the planned execution of the organisation’s transformation – a rename!
Far from the easiest task in the world, renaming is a tricky business and requires a mix of skill, engagement and a pinch of luck when it comes to finding something that fits, isn’t already registered and can be trademarked!
We began by visiting each of the 6 centres across the South West to meet with Staff, Volunteers and Clients to get a fresh understanding of how they saw the organisation, what was important to them about what they deliver or were receiving and overall, what it was they were really all about when we get to the ‘heart’ part of the conversation.
It soon became obvious that clients were most comfortable at home. A place they found familiar, surrounded by their important possessions and endless memories. They didn’t want to move…they were quite happy to stay there. What they needed was a little bit of help.
So, Belong at Home was born. Utilising the highly recognisable colour palette and trademark Umbrella previously crafted by thebox.
A softer and more friendly custom piece of typography was settled upon, setting the tone for the future direction of Belong at Home.
If you’re in the South West, it’s impossible to miss Belong at Home. The umbrella adorns every car, bus and trailer while the prominent Bunbury Location is a beacon to those who need their service.
