In 2019 we embarked on a journey with Community Home Care to bring the organisation together. Having been through a host of mergers and acquisitions across the region, there was a distinct need to align the culture of the organisation and crystalise this into a single brand which encompassed all locations.
We began with a BrandStory and built a foundation on which to best understand the organisation, its people and its clients. Through an extensive Discovery process which saw us visit all 6 locations, we sought to find ways to bring the organisation together.
The Community Home Care (CHC) brand had been around for a long time and there was significant recognition. But the mark needed modernising in line with a changing demographic and shifts in funding models.
On the back of the BrandStory, we refreshed the brand with some additional colours while maintaining the concept of the umbrella. Hidden within the umbrella are 6 love hearts which form each section of the umbrella, signifying the care the organisation has for their clients.
Launching this, in person, across a range of the sites, we spent time explaining the rationale and how their feedback had contributed to the final result.
A long list of collateral was required along with a significant execution of signage across both buildings and vehicles.
The Last Word
In 2023, thebox was invited by the Board and Executive to assist in the facilitation of the final piece of the rebranding process. This was to rename the organisation to both fully embrace a holistic association for the organisation to be under but also to clearly position the organisation for the future in the Home Care space.
