This Friday I’ll be in Karratha speaking at a conference for the Pilbara Area Consultative Committee, focused on riding the current boom in the region. The conference aims at assisting business and government bodies in creating sustainable approaches to the long term future of both local industry and the Pilbara region.

As quoted from the ‘Riding the Boom‘ website, ” Riding the Boom is a two-day conference for industry, small and medium sized business, the not-for-profit sector and Government agencies to present the facts, rather than the rumours of the current environment in the Pilbara.”

“An initiative of the Pilbara Area Consultative Committee, ‘Riding the Boom’ brings key note speakers from around Australia to Karratha to provide their insight, leadership and passion for economic development initiatives.”

I always enjoy the opportunity to get out there and speak on the topic of marketing. It’s such a misunderstood area of business and our Marketing Unplugged sessions are a perfect way to push aside the froth and bubble and give participants raw information that can assist in the growth and development of their business.

I’m looking forward to our session and the round table lunch that follows.
