January saw our first custom iPad App released into the wild with the completion of the Augusta Margaret River Tourism Associations (AMRTA) ‘Cave App’ installed at the new Jewel Cave Interpretive Centre.

The permanent installation of 2 sparkling iPad 2’s running the custom App are being enjoyed by visitors from around the world.

Developed from the ground up, the App engages the user with stunning pictures of the 3 caves managed by the AMRTA along with information and facts about the caves. There’s even a puzzle mode that is especially fun for the ‘young at heart’ who can piece together photos of micro fauna and formations found deep within the magnificent caves.

So if you’re visiting the Margaret River region, make sure you take a trip to Jewel Cave and check out the App in its natural habitat.
