Recently, Jack in the box was commissioned by the Small Business Development Corporation (SBDC), in conjunction with the Small Business Centre – Warren Blackwood, to develop a custom workshop series to assist local businesses understand the need to be involved in the online environment.

Entitled TechTock – It’s Time for a Change, the 3 hour a night workshop ran over 2 nights to an audience of 35 keen business people from throughout the Warren Blackwood district.

Focusing on the need to build a digital strategy and find ways to improve their businesses both online and offline, the workshop received incredible support and strong positive feedback.

Delivered by Director Scott Robinson, TechTock success rides on the back of the highly proclaimed SuperOnline workshops which were conducted throughout 2010-11 in the Margaret River Wine Region.

“Workshops like these are just so valuable to regional Western Australia” said Scott, “this need has been clearly identified by the SBDC and we’re really proud of our involvement.”

Scott is hopeful of seeing this program, along with another follow-up series being implemented across the entire state with a clear focus on Regional and Remote areas of the State.
