How time flies

WOW! I have no idea where the last few weeks have gone but I can tell you that they have flown by.

So considering I’ve been absent from ‘planet blog’ for a while I thought I’d update you on what’s been happening.

My last post was from a hotel room on the east coast. Before you all say it…yes it was all business. Certainly wasn’t a holiday!

On my return it was straight down to business as I slipped on my speaking hat and into BizSmart 2009. The crew from SBC Vasse do an incredible job to put on an event of this calibre and it was a privilege to be amongst some really fantastic speakers. If you missed seeing Ray Scicluna (Founder of Video Ezy) then you missed something special!

A quick recovery period over the weekend before preparation for a teen workshop through South West VETlink. This was a great experience as I was able to speak with teens from 14 – 20 who were all interested in building youth events. The program looked to empower them with transferable skills ranging from accounting to marketing to management. Having been involved with events on a number of levels this was a fantastic opportunity to pass on some of my past experiences.

The rest of that week and this week have been very exciting with some new and innovative projects in the pipeline which have created a buzz inside ‘the box’. Stay tuned to our eNewsletter between now and Christmas for more on that!

Next week I’ll be back to my usual ‘blogging’ self. No doubt with a crazy headline and an interesting twist.
