Some of you may have heard of Technological Singularity. This hypothesis suggests that at some point, the intelligence within our technology system will reach a point where it surpasses the brainpower of a human.
Once upon a time a mobile phone had one function, it let us make phone calls. Then we could send text messages. Then the phones could handle email and instant messaging. Now the smartphones with their endless apps have taken over life as we once knew it.
So let’s have a little break and look at a just one of the breakthroughs happening now, to get the imagination running! (When we know how to use the new tools, we can invent the new stuff! I feel any new advancement is a tool or solution even in our industry.)
What I am getting to here is what goes around comes around, and going right back to basics is a societal shift that I’m pretty pleased about. Old Breakthroughs become New Breakthroughs, just like the coffee keep cup.
A car cruising around space may seem pretty cool to a lot of people, and it certainly is a breakthrough in terms of both PR for Tesla and the tech required to put it there.
Knowing your enemy, competitor, their movements, their pathway. Understanding their weapons, their products, the benefits. Understanding the territory, their prime market targets, their consumer behaviours, it’s all influential as to how you plan the war, the strategic marketing plan, the tactics and the way forward.
