New Year, New You. Pffft, I’ve heard that one before? At the end of each year, we tend to reflect upon what has been and whether we achieved what we set out to – typically no! In contrary, at the beginning of the year we plan our resolutions, however is there a happy medium?
Every year someone asks me what’s my New Year’s Resolution (NYR) and every year I lie. So for 2017 my NYR is to stop telling people who ask, that I have one. I usually fib to end the conversation or to at least bringing it to a more rapid conclusion.
Not one to really make New Year Resolutions, I thought this month’s blog topic might be better suited to expose some marketing trends that could form part of your resolutions to get stuck into in 2017.

Have you ever noticed that lighting candles can suddenly set a romantic tone or the aromas of freshly baked bread makes you feel soft and warm inside and even hearing a simple Christmas jingle can change your mood (for some – this might be annoyance, for me – instant happiness!).
